2.7.3 PCIe Configuration
Default configuration is:
• Upstream port (root complex) at PCI Express switch PEX port 8 (AMC B2)
• No Non-transparent bridge port defined
To change the upstream port (and NT-bridge port), use the following CLI command in pri-
viledged mode:
set board pcie upstream <port>
or
set board pcie upstream <port> nt-bridge <port>
Where <port> can be amcb1, amcb2, amcb3, amcb4 or update.
After changing the upstream/NT port, the PCIe subsystem requires a reset. This can be done
by deactivating and activating the AT8402 carrier.
For an overview of the current configuration, use the CLI boardinfo command:
(Ethernet Fabric) #show boardinfo pcie
PCIE port Setting Hot-Plug

For additional information on the system configuration, refer to the "AT8402 CLI Reference
Manual".
2.7.4 SAS Configuration
The LSISAS1064E SAS controller is pre-installed with a firmware supporting an Initiator/Target
configuration. An alternative version provides integrated RAID support.
The SASx12A edge expander has appropriate configuration data pre-installed. In this default
configuration, all AMC bays are connected to the SAS Expander (SAS Connect).
To establish a storage connection between AMC bays 1 and 3 instead (Direct AMC Connect),
use the following command:
set board storage connect amcb3 amcb1
To reset the configuration to the default settings for bays 1 and 3, use the following command:
set board storage connect amcb3 sas
To establish a storage connection between AMC bays 2 and 4, use the following command:
set board storage connect amcb4 amcb2
To reset the configuration to the default settings for bays 2 and 4, use the following command:
set board storage connect amcb4 sas
